Mvci Driver For Windows 10

02.02.2019

Hey guys, So I am an automotive tech. At work I have a laptop that I access all of the shops repair resources from and I have a few different scan tools I also use from my laptop. Well the current machine I have been using, a Windows 7 32 bit machine has finally given up on me. I have been looking for a cheap replacement. I found something that will fit on Amazon, however, the only problem is the fact that it has Windows 8.1 64 bit OS.

I have heard in the past that the TechStream software will not work on a 64 bit OS or Windows 8.1 because the MVCI drivers will not install. I'd really like to go with this machine because I do not like buying used. I found a Windows XP machine on eBay that would work with all my software no doubt, but then I am sure I would have to buy a new battery and hope all the other hardware on a 7 year old machine is still up to the task. At least buying new I will have a warranty. Has anyone had any luck? Here is a thread I found about how to use techstream software on 64bit non XP windows: I have seen that thread.

But it seems that no one other than the OP in that thread actually verified that it does work. I currently have it on my 32 bit Windows 7 system.

I would just be pissed to spend the money on a windows 8 machine only to have to run a virtual machine to use techstream. Even though I do not use it THAT much at work, on flat rate waiting for a virtual machine to load and the slower use of a virtual machine will not be very effective. Can anyone actually verify that it does work or do I get to be the test pig. It does work. I went through the whole extraction/force install as mentioned on that 4Runner forum. I have it running on two windows 8.1 and my personal windows 7, all three 64-bit. I was able to only do it once on my personal laptop the.
